Carbonetti e Associati and A&O Shearman advise on sub-participation securitisation for Anchorage
Carbonetti e Associati and A&O Shearman advised, respectively, Anchorage Capital Advisors, as subscriber of the notes, and a leading international financial institution, as beneficiary of the credit protection, in connection with a securitisation transaction structured pursuant to Article 7(1)(a) of Italian Law 130/99, based on the so-called sub-participation model.
The securitisation structure relates to exposures arising from a loan granted to a leading company operating in the infrastructure sector.
The transaction fits within the most recent developments in the securitisation market and confirms the growing use of innovative and flexible structures for the transfer and management of credit risk.
