Carbonetti e Associati law firm assisted Mercer Italia SIM in the entire procedural process that ended with the issuance by CONSOB of the SIM’s authorization to provide investment services.
In particular, the Firm assisted the SIM in the phase of its incorporation, in the preparation of the appropriate governance structures as well as in the preparation of the documentary set to support the authorization application to CONSOB, with the opinion of Banca D’Italia, for the provision of investment services.
The newly established SIM is part of the international Marsh & McLennan Group, whose parent company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is part of the S&P 500 index.
The SIM will specialize in providing investment advice to institutional clients, with a focus on ESG sustainability aspects, and will benefit from the information assets of the group’s global resources of about 2,100 international investment experts. The SIM’s board of directors will be composed of Marco Valerio Morelli, as chairman, Luca De Biasi, as managing director, and Prof. Giorgio Di Giorgio, as an independent director who will bring to the service his recognized and consolidated experience in the Italian financial sector.
